1. Why does a fire truck show up when I call 911?

In the case of life-threatening emergency, Audrain County Central Dispatch may send a fire truck along with an ambulance unit to provide extra assistance.

Normally, citizens are allowed to burn small piles of leaves or small limbs on their property as long as there is supervision and the fire is contained to their property.
