Services
The Planning and Zoning Division performs a variety of services intended to protect, maintain, and develop an attractive, safe, and healthy environment. The primary function is land use activities occurring in the city.

Responsibilities
The Planning and Zoning function implements the policies of the city as adopted by the City Council.

The function is also responsible for the administration of land use regulations, including the zoning code.

Staff also provides technical assistance and support to the Planning Board and Architectural and Site Review Board.
